What is the Cardboard Collector's Guild?

The Cardboard Collector’s Guild is a community-driven platform for trading card enthusiasts. We specialize in live breaks, where collectors can purchase sealed products, or spots in group openings of sealed products, and we also sell high-rarity singles from various trading card games. Our goal is to provide a fun, engaging experience for collectors of all levels.

What are live breaks?

Live breaks are events where sealed trading card products (such as booster boxes) are opened live, and participants who have purchased spots receive cards based on the break format. Live breaks are an exciting way to build your collection while sharing the experience with other collectors in real time.

How do I participate in a live break?

To join a live break, visit our website’s “Live Break Products” section and browse the available options. Select the break you’re interested in, purchase your product, and tune into our scheduled live stream at the designated time. During the stream, we’ll open the product and allocate cards according to the type of break purchased (e.g., hits only, all cards, etc.).

What types of singles do you sell?

We sell high-rarity singles and graded cards from popular trading card games. For bulk singles or lower-value cards, these are available exclusively through our TCGPlayer store, providing a convenient option for collectors seeking to complete their sets or expand their collections.

Are your singles authenticated or graded?

For ungraded cards, we prioritize authenticity and quality by conducting a thorough inspection process before listing them for sale. While our graded singles are professionally graded by trusted third-party grading companies like PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), BGS (Beckett Grading Services), or CGC (Certified Guaranty Company).

Shipping & Returns

How long does shipping take?

We are currently shipping within the U.S. only and aim to ship all orders within 1-3 business days after payment is received. Shipping times may vary depending on your location: domestic orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days after dispatch. International shipping is in the works and expect orders to take 10-21 business days depending on customs processing times in your country. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

Do you offer combined shipping for multiple purchases?

Yes! If you purchase multiple items during a single transaction or participate in multiple live breaks within one session/day, we will combine shipping whenever possible to save you money. Combined shipping discounts will be automatically applied at checkout or
refunded if applicable post-purchase.

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of collectibles and trading cards as unique items with fluctuating market values, all sales are final unless there is an error on our part (e.g., incorrect item shipped). If you believe there has been an issue with your order or shipment damage has occurred during transit, please contact us immediately so we can resolve it promptly.

Can I watch past live breaks if I missed them?

Yes! All our live breaks are recorded and archived on our official YouTube/Twitch channel for easy access anytime after the event concludes. This ensures transparency and allows participants to review their pulls at their convenience.

Do I need an account to make purchases or join breaks?

While it’s not mandatory to create an account for one-time purchases or participation in live breaks as a guest user, having an account allows you to track orders more easily. Signing up is free!

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Cardboard Collectors Guild

At Cardboard Collectors Guild, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible experience when purchasing trading card game (TCG) singles and participating in live breaks. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

General Return Policy for TCG Singles

Due to the nature of collectibles and trading cards as unique items with fluctuating market values, all sales are final unless there is an error on our part (e.g., incorrect item shipped). If you believe there has been an issue with your order, make sure to contact us within 3 days from the date of delivery so we can resolve it promptly.

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility:

Refunds will only be issued once we have received and inspected the returned item(s). If approved, refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-Refundable Items:

  • Cards purchased during live breaks are non-refundable unless there is evidence of damage caused by us during handling.
  • Mystery packs or grab bags are final sale and cannot be refunded.
  • Digital products or services related to live breaks are also non-refundable.

Live Breaks Disclosure

  • All sales made during live breaks are final. By purchasing a spot in a live break, you acknowledge that outcomes are based on chance and no guarantees can be made regarding specific pulls or values.
  • Any issues related to cards pulled during live breaks (e.g., damage caused by courier services) must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Lost Packages Disclaimer

Cardboard Collectors Guild is not responsible for packages lost or delayed by courier services once they leave our facility. While we take every precaution to ensure safe packaging and timely shipment:

  • Customers are encouraged to select shipping options that include tracking and insurance.
  • In cases where packages are lost in transit, we recommend contacting the courier service directly to file a claim.
